MPGC-QM scientists among the most cited researchers in 2025
Six MPGC-QM scientists are among the top 1% of the world's most cited scientists in the Web of Science in 2025
To identify the most highly cited researchers, the US company Clarivate once a year analyzes its Web of Science database, which covers scientific publications in a broad range of disciplines.
The current edition lists the scientists who were cited most frequently in their subject areas in the 11-year period from 2013 to 2023. The list contains the names of more than 7,000 persons among which are following six researchers’ part of the MPGC-QM:
- Prof. Claudia Felser, Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, Dresden
- Prof. Bettina V. Lotsch, Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart
- Prof. Kin Fai Mak, Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Hamburg
- Prof. Jie Shan, Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Hamburg
- Prof. Angel Rubio, Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Hamburg
- Prof. Stuart Parkin, Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics, Halle
Max Planck Society has gained significantly in number of Highly Cited Researcher awards (to 66 from 56 in 2024), rising from ninth to seventh place.
