Thesis Abstract: Magnetic resonance imaging is an incredibly powerful tool for understanding both biological and physical systems. The extension of this technique into the quantum domain, using quantum sensing protocols, promises unmatched sensitivity and resolution. This thesis aims to construct an experimental setup capable of imaging magnetism at nanoscale resolutions, while also preserving the highly fragile nature of these magnetic states. Quantum materials will be the particular focus of this thesis, where answering open questions could help build the next generation of quantum technology.
