New Max Planck Graduate Center PI
We are very happy to announce that the Max Planck Graduate Center for Quantum Materials grew by a new member, Dr. Claire Donnelly from MPI CPfS Dresden
Dr. Claire Donnelly was appointed as new PI of the Max Planck Graduate Center. She is also a group leader of a newly established Lise Meitner research group at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Dresden.
With her group "Spin3D: Three-dimensional magnetic systems", Dr. Claire Donnelly will study three-dimensional magnetic systems on different length scales. These scales range from micrometre-sized systems, where topological structures analogous to everyday objects are observed, to the nanoscale, where structuring magnetic materials in three dimensions can control their properties.
