- Title of Project: Ultrafast Switching of Metastable Topological Transport
Thesis Abstract:
I am investigating how ultrafast light-matter interaction can manipulate the topology of quantum materials. I probe these effects in the electrical transport sector using a chip-scale ultrafast optoelectronic device architecture based on waveguides and photoconductive switches. I’m currently researching how light can induce topological transitions in Weyl semimetals.
