6. General Information

6.1 Where will students live during the duration of the program?
At all locations of Max Planck Graduate Center, if requested, you can get an initial help in accommodation search. But ultimately, students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation for the duration of the program.

6.2 Is there childcare at the Max Planck Graduate Center locations?
At every location of the Graduate Center the students with children can get a direct support from childcare facilities. In addition, PhD students will have the right to maternity leave and the duration of their contracts will be adjusted accordingly (i.e. lengthened based on how much leave was taken). We particularly encourage and support women in their careers.
